Apply for an Esther Katz Rosen fellowship or one of Div. 1's many awards, including a book award and a student poster award

The Esther Katz Rosen Fund was established in 1974 for the advancement and application of knowledge related to gifted and talented children and adolescents. The Esther Katz Rosen Fellowship supports graduate students whose work centers on the psychological understanding of gifted and talented children and adolescents.

Call for nominations: Division 1 awards

Division 1 (Society for General Psychology) of the American Psychological Association is conducting its 2013 awards competition, including the William James Book Award for a recent book that serves to integrate material across psychological subfields or to provide coherence to the diverse subject matter of psychology, the Ernest R. Hilgard Lifetime Achievement Award for a lifetime career contribution to general psychology, the George A. Miller Award for an Outstanding Recent Article on General Psychology, and the Arthur W. Staats Lecture for Unifying Psychology, which is an American Psychological Foundation award managed by the Society for General Psychology.

In addition, there are two student awards: The Anne Anastasi Student Poster Award for the best poster presented in the Division 1 poster session and the Anne Anastasi General Psychology Graduate Student Award, based on the student's past performance and proposed research.

There are no restrictions on nominees, and self-nominations as well as nominations by others are encouraged for these awards. All nominations and supporting materials for each award must be received on or before Feb. 15, 2013.
