Practicum and Internship Placements: The Ferkauf Older Adult Program provides gero-psychology training by pooling the resources of a University, a public hospital, and an academic medical center at the following sites:

  • Parnes Clinic (Ferkauf Graduate School of Yeshiva University)
  • Jacobi Medical Center
  • Einstein Aging Study Research Clinic (Albert Einstein College of Medicine)

Practicum and internship training also available at many NYC sites.

Other Relevant Information and Comments: The Clinical Program (PsyD) of the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology (Yeshiva University) has an emphasis on clinical training in geriatric mental health. Doctoral students who seek a concentration in clinical geropsychology complete requisite coursework and practicum training. Faculty have active research programs in graduate training in clinical geropsychology, depression and personality disorder in late life, the measurement of social adjustment, and cognitive aging.
