Join the Rehabilitation Psychology Division

Division 22 embraces members with a great diversity of interests. We welcome professionals from other psychological specialties and fields associated with rehabilitation as well as interested students.

Membership Benefits

  • Eligibility for participation in the Division 22 email list, RehabPsych

  • The opportunity to become an active member, serve on any of our committees, or become involved in the Sections on Pediatric Rehabilitation Psychology, Women's Issues in Rehabilitation Psychology and Rehabilitation in the Military, or one of the special interest groups.

Membership Categories

Members
Psychologists with interest and expertise in the psychosocial aspects of disability who are current members or applicants to the American Psychological Association are eligible for membership.

Affiliate Members
Professionals from related disciplines such as rehabilitation counseling, speech therapy and audiology, rehabilitation nursing, and other health, medical, and related disciplines with an interest in disability-related issues are eligible to be affiliate members of Division 22.

Foreign Affiliates
All are welcome, though a higher rate is required to cover postage for journals and newsletters. Affiliates do not have to be members of APA.

Student Members
Students in psychology, rehabilitation counseling, special education, and related disciplines are eligible to become student members in Division 22.
