Task Forces

There have been various task forces created by Division 31 including the Diversity Task Force, the Early Career Task Force, Ethics Education Task Force, the Health Care Reform Task Force and the Student Task Force. If you are interested in joining any of these task forces, please contact the respective chair.

  • Diversity Task Force
    This task force is committed to promoting diversity within psychology. Included here are resources for SPTAs looking to increase diversity in their membership and leadership at the state level.

  • Early Career Psychologist Task Force
    This task force promotes the building of leadership and advocacy skills among psychologists across North America. The primary mission of the task force is to publish timely blogs about emerging issues effecting early career psychologists.

  • Ethics Education Task Force
    The Ethics Education Task Force addresses the development of Internet-based resources that support State, Provincial and Territorial Psychological Associations (SPTAs) in promoting awareness and knowledge of ethics and in implementing a broad array of ethics education programs for their members.

  • Health Care Reform Task Force
    This task force highlights current issues impacting psychologists in the implementation of health care reform at the state and federal levels.

  • Student Task Force
    This task force is committed to assisting students develop their leadership and advocacy skills as part of forming a viable career in psychology.
