2011 Heritage Awards Ceremony
The inaugural Division 32 Heritage Awards Ceremony, in recognition of outstanding contributions to APA Division 32 Humanistic Psychology, was held on Aug. 5, 2011, in Washington, DC.
Nominations
Please honor the best and the most accomplished of our colleagues who have contributed so much to the field of humanistic psychology. Nominations are accepted annually from Sept. 1 to Nov. 1, 2012.
2013 Heritage Awards
The Society for Humanistic Psychology proudly announces the 2013 Heritage Awards to be presented at the 121st Annual APA Convention in Honolulu, July 31 to Aug. 4, 2013.
Abraham Maslow Award
The Abraham Maslow Division 32 Heritage Award is given to an individual for an outstanding and lasting contribution to the exploration of the farther reaches of human spirit.
Carl Rogers Award
The Carl Rogers Award is given to an individual for an outstanding contribution to the theory and practice of humanistic psychology.
Rollo May Award
The Rollo May Award is given to an individual for independent and outstanding pursuit of new frontiers in humanistic psychology.
Memorial Award for Lifetime Achievement
The Division 32 Memorial Award is given to an individual in recognition of distinguished lifetime contributions to humanistic psychology (within five years of death).
Charlotte and Karl Bühler Award
The Charlotte and Karl Bühler Award is given to an institution, and an individual associated with an institution, that has made an outstanding and lasting contribution to humanistic psychology.
Carmi Harari Early Career Awards
This Division 32 Early Career Award is given to psychologists, no more than 15 years after receiving their PhD, for contribution in the areas of inquiry, application and social action.
Award for Distinguished Lifetime Contributions to Humanistic Psychology
The Distinguished Lifetime Contributions Award is given to an individual in recognition of distinguished lifetime contributions to humanistic psychology.
Mike Arons and E. Mark Stern Award for Outstanding Lifetime Service to the Society for Humanistic Psychology
This Division 32 Outstanding Lifetime Service Award is given to an individual who has, throughout their career, given sustained loyal service to the society.
Sidney M. Jourard Student Award Symposium
The Sidney M. Jourard Student Award is a written paper competition; winners are presented at the annual APA Convention.
