Teaching References
Conservation Psychology Institute — This week-long summer intensive program brings together scholars, students, professionals and a gifted psychology and organizational development faculty to explore how the tools of psychology can be used in a wide range of effective conservation and sustainability practices.
Environmental Psychology course — This course, offered on iTunes and taught by Professor Daniel Stokols from University of California Irvine's School of Ecology, emphasizes the interdependence between physical and social aspects of places, rather than viewing these dimensions as separate and isolated.
Teaching Psychology for Sustainability — Britain Scott and Susan Koger created this online manual to help instructors integrate psychology and environmental issues into their courses. The site includes: general and instructor resources, sample syllabi and a comprehensive bibliography.
