Call for Proposals for APA’s 2018 Annual Convention

President Beth Karlin’s theme for the year is “Telling our Stories.”

We are seeking proposals and programming that tell a good story about your research, methods and scientific findings surrounding environmental, population and conservation psychology.

In addition, preference will be given to proposals that focus on one or more of our convention themes as follows:

  • Technology’s role in environmental and community sustainability
  • Psychology’s role in addressing climate change
  • Psychological and behavioral health aspects of environmental risk
  • Taking psychology to the streets – informing environmental and social change
  • Off the couch and out of the tower – alternative careers in psychology
  • Restorative environments

The deadline for submissions closed 5 p.m., Dec. 4, 2017.  The 126th APA Annual Convention is Aug. 9-12, 2018.

Questions can be addressed to Div. 34's 2018 program chair, Patricia Winter, PhD.
