Heritage Award

This award is presented annually to a senior individual who has made distinguished, long-standing and substantial contributions that pertain to women, gender or related issues in any of the following three areas:

  • Teaching/Mentoring 

  • Practice/Advocacy

  • Research/Scholarship

Nominees may apply with emphasis in any of the three areas. The 2013 award will give special consideration to significant contributions to the field in the area of feminist practice.

Annual Deadline: May 15

Eligibility

Nominations, including self-nominations, are welcome.

How to Apply

Nominations can be made via email and should include the following:

  1. A curriculum vitae;

  2. A narrative of not more than 7 pages that describes the nature and impact of the nominees' contribution to the field of feminist practice and the psychology of women and gender;

  3. At least 3 but no more than 5 letters of support that address the nominees' contributions in feminist practice;

  4. Supporting materials (up to 3 reprints, and any other material not to exceed 5 pages, e.g., reviews of books, citations, etc.).
