The Task Force for Women Who Experience Serious Mental Illness suggest this framework for working with individuals who experience serious mental illness. The curriculum offers a recovery-oriented approach which seeks to foster hope, decrease the experience of stigma, and partner with individuals in their recovery journey as they work towards lives of meaning as they so define.
