Div. 35 Seeks Contributors to Its Great Leaders Series
As everyone is aware, the goal of the Great Leaders Series is to highlight the accomplishments of leaders in our division. We are seeking ways to revision the series, honoring the intention while also providing mentoring to members of the division who are earlier in their careers. Through this initiative, graduate students and early career psychologists will have the opportunity to contribute to the series and develop a mentoring relationship with a feminist leader in the division. Interested graduate students and early career psychologists will be paired with an identified leader and will have the opportunity to interview him/her to develop the contribution to the website. These contributions consist of a few paragraphs describing the leader's professional history and contribution to the field of feminist psychology. Our hope is that the interaction will be informative for both the great leader and the interviewee and serve as a foundation for a future mentoring relationship. Graduate students and early career psychologists interested in being part of this initiative can email Allie Minieri about their interest. Through either assignment or request, graduate students and early career psychologists will be paired with a feminist leader in the division and will receive a list of questions they can use as part of the interview process, though additional questions are welcome as well.
