New Div. 37 student board members elected

Exciting events planned at APA convention and new student board members.

By Adam Miller

Hello student and professional members of Div. 37,

I am happy to report that we have two very exciting events planned for the APA convention in Toronto. Our first event that is exclusively designed for students is the Div. 37 mentoring breakfast . This will take place on 8 a.m. Friday, Aug. 8 in the Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel, Haliburton Room. This is an excellent time to meet with established professionals in our field to seek guidance on career development and ideas for becoming more involved in advocacy. Our second event is a joint student social hour with Divs. 16, 52 and 54 at the Intercontinental Toronto Centre Hotel/Ballroom A. This is another fantastic networking opportunity for you to meet students who are involved in other divisions who work closely with us. We hope you are able to make it out for these events.

I would also like to make everyone aware that we held elections for new student board members. We received numerous applications, and we are delighted to inform you that we have five new board members that will be coming on board as of July 1.
