Psychoanalysts
Speak About Board Certification

Becoming a psychoanalyst has traditionally been the final certification for most psychoanalytic psychologists. But with board certification gaining in prestige, both within the profession and among the general public, more psychoanalysts are seeing the value in having an ABPP in psychoanalysis. Periodically we will feature interviews with psychologists/psychoanalysts about their experiences in getting board certified and why they find it personally and professionally meaningful.

The first interviews available are with Marilyn Metzl, PhD, ABPP, and Karol A. Marshall, PhD, ABPP.
