Call for Nominations for Section III (Women, Gender and Psychoanalysis) Awards

The Annual Dissertation Award is given to a member of Division 39 who has completed her/his dissertation within the past two years. The dissertation should further the understanding of women and gender, preferably from a psychoanalytic viewpoint. Applicants should submit a CV and dissertation abstract. The winner will receive a $500 prize.

The Annual ECP Award will be given to a member of Division 39 who finished graduate school within the past seven years. The applicant should be contributing to the field of women, gender, and psychoanalysis by means of research, writing, and/or innovative clinical programs. Applicants should submit a CV and brief letter summarizing her/his contributions. The winner will receive a paid registration fee to the Division 39 Spring Meeting.

Applications for the Dissertation and ECP Awards should be submitted to JoAnn Ponder by February 1st. The award winners will be honored at the Section III reception at the Division 39 Spring Meeting. The winners are strongly encouraged, but not required, to attend the reception.
