By Bill MacGillivray, PhD, ABPP

Welcome to the January issue of InSight. I hope this issue finds you in the midst of a restful holiday season and the beginning of a peaceful new year. This issue provides extended coverage of the incredible fundraising efforts on behalf of the Division 39 Fund; we are almost three-quarters of the way toward our goal. Please consider joining those of us who are founding donors. Founding donors are listed in Division Updates.

I am also pleased to mention Louis Rothschild's Spotlight on Andrew Harlem's thoughtful Psychoanalytic Psychology article, Exile as a Dissociative State: When a Self is "Lost in Transit."

You should have received the nominations ballot for the upcoming Division 39 election. Please feel free to nominate yourself or anyone else you know who you think would be willing to run and represent our Division on the Board of Directors. Please send or fax your nominations to Ruth Helein. The fax number is (336) 768-4445 and the mailing address is 2615 Amesbury Road, Winston Salem, NC 27103. You may also scan the completed ballot form and email it to Ruth Helein. Please make sure that whomever you nominate is willing to run for office. The deadline for nominations is January 10th.

Have a great month. Remember, you can always access us on Facebook and Twitter if you have comments or thoughts!
