A message from the Early Career Committee

The Early Career Committee shares updates and information regarding their current projects

Our mentoring program has successfully matched six early career clinicians with a seasoned mentor in order to provide support and guidance in preparing submissions for the 2012 Spring Meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico. Several early career clinicians completed the application process. In response to inquiries from ECPs who are looking for mentoring in other areas as well, we are planning to expand our efforts.

We are continuing to focus our attention on our invited panel for the Spring Meeting. Our topic is "Creating a Clinical Identity". Utilizing a roundtable format, we will discuss challenges we face when integrating multiple facets of self. We hope that both early and later career individuals will join us for what we hope will be a rich and facilitating conversation.

Please check out all of the benefits of joining Division 39 as an early career clinician. These include: discounts for membership, reduced rates to attend our Spring Conference, and invaluable social networking opportunities. We are looking forward to upcoming meetings and events, and hope to meet new members online and in person. Visit the Early Career Committee web page for more information.
