IN THIS ISSUE
By Arlene (Lu) Steinberg
Division 39 remains in good financial shape. We presently have increased our reserves, thanks to the careful allocation of past Treasurer, Marsha McCary, PhD, to over one year's operating expenses. We continue to fund board, committee and member initiatives. The Division continues to strive to use funds to support new initiatives as well as continued projects. In addition, funds will be used for a board retreat, whose goal will be to consider the future direction and goals of the division. Read the five-year comparative review of our income and expenses. We welcome your input, ideas and questions.
From The Early Career Committee
Early Career Committee members are excited about our upcoming spring meeting in Santa Fe, New Mexico! We would like to highlight important and interesting events for all of our early career professionals. Join us during our panel presentation focusing on clinical identity formation; our panel is comprised of early career professionals, and will highlight diversity issues - both of practice and application - experienced by very different early career clinicians. We will also be hosting our annual reception co-sponsored with the Graduate Student and Outreach Candidate Committee. Check out our new brochure highlighting all of the benefits of joining the division as an early career professional! They will be featured during our spring meeting. We hope to connect with all of you, as we seek to provide a supportive network for all Division 39 early career clinicians.
