We can always learn from our children

By Kristi Pikiewicz

I took my four-year old daughter to see her first performance of the Nutcracker. She sat on her knees with her eyes riveted to the action for the full two hours. She seemed totally open to the delight of each unexpected turn and twist. It was a joy to watch her. This week I kept the image of my daughter in mind and tried to be as open with my clients as she was with the ballet. Imagine the focus! I thought I would be exhausted at the end of a six-client day but I left work energized, and with less of myself remaining behind in the room. When I got home I was more available to my family. I have much to learn. I'm glad I have such a great little teacher.

Warm Regards, Kristi Pikiewicz
