Student and Early Career Psychologist Engagement Award

Support early career psychologist and graduate student engagement with LGBTQ psychology by defraying travel costs to the APA Annual Convention and research travel awards (nine total awards).

Deadline:

Sponsor: Division 44

Description

Div. 44 is offering six $250 travel awards to assist with travel costs for the 2017 APA Convention in Washington, D.C.

This year, due to grant funding from our recognition as the APAGS Outstanding Division in 2015, we are also offering three $400 research travel awards, one in each area:

  1. Transgender issues
  2. Bisexual issues
  3. Issues related to intersectionality

Applicants are allowed to apply for other Div. 44 travel awards; however, no applicants will be awarded more than one. Applicants will be notified of the status of their application via email by the end of June.

Recipients of this award will be required to volunteer in the Div. 44 suite for several hours and attend select division events. Details about specific requirements will be received via email upon offer of the travel award.
