Fellows

Become a Fellow of APA through Div. 44

We have a marvelous division with many talented members who have made a national or international impact for LGBT psychologists, clients and research participants. We are seeking nominations for fellow status in the division. Self-nominations are highly encouraged. The fellows process has been streamlined and applicants can find the criteria for fellow status through the APA fellows on-line application platform. Applicants who are not currently fellows in another APA division must complete the Uniform Fellows Application for APA, be endorsed by at least three current APA fellows (two of whom must be fellows in Div. 44), and provide evidence of their outstanding contributions to psychology and to the mission of Div. 44. All completed materials must be returned to the division Fellows Chair by December 15, 2014. These materials must include Letters of Endorsement and the mandatory “Fellows Evaluation Form” from three current APA Fellows, so please be sure to make them aware of the division's deadline. All materials must be uploaded to through the APA online application platform.

Current APA fellows from other divisions who are not yet fellows of Div. 44 can send a CV and a personal statement as to how their work meets the mission of Div. 44 to the Fellows Committee Chair. The deadline for current fellows is more flexible since they have already been given fellows status by the APA Fellows Committee through the other division(s).

Sincerely,

Christopher R. Martell, Ph.D., ABPP
