Student Travel Award

This award is eligible for those students who are first author of a poster or paper to be presented during Society of Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference or our Div. 54 programming at the APA Convention. Eight awards, each for $1,000, will be awarded to help offset costs of travel.

Eligibility

The SPP Student Travel Awards are available for students who are members of the Society of Pediatric Psychology and who are first author of a poster or paper to be presented during Society of Pediatric Psychology Annual Conference or our Div. 54 programming at the APA Convention. Only current graduate students (not postdocs) are eligible for these awards.

How to Apply

To apply, please submit the following as one PDF to David M. Janicke, PhD, by Jan. 31:

  • A one-page cover letter including your name and e-mail address, your current training institution, your primary mentor on this submitted project, information detailing the name, dates, and location of the conference, a statement confirming your Div. 54 membership status, and information on any other sources of travel funding for your convention participation
  • Your current curriculum vitae
  • A  copy of your original presentation proposal submitted to Div. 54
