Evidence-based Practice Resources

The Society of Pediatric Psychology Committee on Science and Practice is working with the membership to develop an evidence-based practice resource library for the membership. This resource library will contain a range of materials intended to provide clinicians and researchers with information, skills, tools and a summary of the evidence for pediatric psychology assessments and interventions.

The first part of the library involves the development of fact sheets to provide accessible information on the prevalence, etiology, consequences, and evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment of common pediatric conditions. The second part of the library will include evidence-based assessment resource sheets intended to offer a summary of the evidence base for standardized measures in different outcome domains. Use the “Print” icon in the right corner of the page to print individual sheets.

We hope that these resources will be valuable to our members in their clinical and research work. As we continue to develop our resources in the areas of skills, tools and evidence-based interventions, we will include them in this section of the site. Thank you to the many SPP members who contributed to the writing and review of these fact sheets.
