To post a message to the list, send an email to DIV20ann@lists.apa.org. Please use one of pre-defined headers in your subject line followed by a specific title (e.g., JOBS: University of Erewhon). Members’ posts will be automatically distributed. Non-members’ posts will be moderated and may or may not be approved. See posting policies for guidance.

Why is the email list moderated?
A moderator ensures that a human being reviews and eliminates as many SPAM messages as possible.
I want to post a question/request for help (e.g., searching for a reference or a test or a consultant). May I do this?
As a matter of general principle, no requests for information (e.g., finding a difficult reference, finding an out-of-print book or measure, etc.) will be posted. The email list is construed more as a dynamic online "newsletter" than as a discussion group. Email list members have asked us to minimize general requests for information as a way of mitigating list traffic.
How may book publishers/editors/authors inform the division about their books?
Postings from for-profit entities are generally not accepted; this includes book publishers. However, the division recognizes the importance of sharing timely information about new publications by and for members.
May I endorse candidates for offices within APA?
Endorsement of APA candidates is disseminated as follows: (A) The Executive Committee requests information from candidates using a standardized questionnaire; (B) All responses received are posted on the Div. 20 website, announced via the email list and published in the divisional newsletter. The Executive Committee may choose to endorse or rank candidates. Executive committee endorsements will be disseminated via the email list. At the discretion of the Executive Committee, in a given APA election cycle, single "private member" endorsements of APA candidates are also permitted. When permitted, the "comment window" is publicly announced, and will typically have a brief, fixed duration (typically two weeks).
May I endorse political candidates outside of APA?
Endorsement of political candidates outside of APA via the email list is not permitted.
Can non-members of Div. 20 join the email list?
No. Non-members may not join the list; membership is open only to regular members, fellows, retired members, student and international affiliates and other recognized APA membership categories. At the discretion of the email list moderator non-members may post to the list but there is no presumed right or guarantee that a posting will be made – this is at the sole discretion of the moderator. Announcements of available jobs, conferences, etc, are most likely to be approved by the moderator. Membership in Div. 20 is very affordable and we encourage individuals with an interest in the email list to join the division.
