The mission of the End-of-Life Special Interest Group (EOL-SIG) is to support EOL-related research and practice by creating an active network of researchers and clinicians who work together to advance evidence-based approaches to end-of-life (EOL) training, EOL planning, and EOL care. The EOL-SIG is also focused on building connections between colleagues from different backgrounds, including psychologists, thanatologists, and medical professionals who have common interests in EOL issues. Membership is free and open to all members and affiliates of the American Psychological Association; however, members of the EOL-SIG are also encouraged to join Division 20.
