Call for abstracts and poster submissions
Please consider presenting your research at the 8th Annual Collaborative Perspectives on Addition Conference (CPA2020), which will be held at the Kimpton Solamar Hotel in San Diego, Calif., from April 2-4, 2020. CPA2020 represents a tremendous opportunity to present your work and learn about the latest in addition psychology research.
Poster submissions are due Nov. 15, 2019. Poster submissions for CPA2020 are limited to one abstract submission per first author. Although attendees may be listed as co-authors on multiple abstracts, you may only submit one poster abstract as first author. Submit proposals on the CPA2020 website.
Each submission will be reviewed and rated by a minimum of two PhD-level peer reviewers. The following three criteria will be scored: (1) overall quality/importance, (2) innovation/originality and (3) approach/methodology.
CPA2020 is excited to offer an expanded three-day schedule, which will include several, additional concurrent symposium/panel sessions compared to previous conferences. This will allow the program committee to meet increased demand based on high proposal submission rates in recent years.
The theme for the 2020 conference is "Substance use and addictive behaviors across the lifespan." CPA2020 actively encourages poster submissions that align with the conference theme. However, fit with the theme is not a requirement for peer review or acceptance of proposals.
Questions can be sent to the program co-chairs, Michael Amlung and Elizabeth Aston.
