Motherhood Committee
The Div. 35 Motherhood Committee was established to support the needs of mothers in training, early career and other professional stages in psychology as well as to put in place supports for mothers in the field. Current activities of the committee include advocating for family leave policy in APA-accredited training sites in a cross-division work group, contributing writing and other resources on feminism and motherhood to The Feminist Psychologist, conference presentations at APA and our affiliate email list FemPsychMoms for discussion and support for navigating parenting and careers in psychology.
