Topics related to the psychology of sexual orientation and gender diversity, as well as LGBTQ-related issues in psychology are the foundation for content within the Div. 44 newsletter. Submissions may include but are not limited to reviews of books and/or films, commentary/thought pieces or columns that promote the work of our membership, such as forms of scholarship and service. The newsletter welcomes submissions of interest to clinicians, researchers, policy-makers, educators and students as well as the broader field of psychology. Potential contributors may submit their pieces electronically to the editor for consideration. Reading back issues to get a sense of what kinds of materials are published can be a helpful first step for determining whether your proposed submission is likely to be a good fit.
Exact deadlines will be announced via the Div. 44 Listserv with the requirement that all pieces be submitted a minimum of two weeks prior to the estimated time frame for publication. Three editions of the newsletter editions are generally published per year (fall, winter and spring/summer).
Please contact Editor Doug Kimmel for inquires about the newsletter or information regarding submissions.
