Hello!
My name is Dylan Davidoff, and I’m excited to step into the role of Social Media Coordinator for APA Division 6.
I graduated from Eckerd College in 2023 with a B.A. in Animal Studies and a B.S. in Marine Science. While at Eckerd, I conducted research on learning and behavior in horseshoe crabs and assisted on projects focused on rough-toothed dolphin behavior and acoustics. I also helped manage our lab’s social media, which sparked my interest in science communication and outreach.
Since graduating, I have been working in Eckerd’s Advancement Office while staying connected to animal behavior research on campus. As I begin looking into graduate school programs, I am thrilled for the opportunity to help expand the reach and accessibility of the amazing work happening within APA Division 6. In this role, I am hoping to strengthen our presence and engagement across social media platforms, share highlights from the Journal of Comparative Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience, provide updates from the division, and spotlight the outstanding research and contributions of our members.
We’re also excited to officially launch our Bluesky account [@apadivision6.bsky.social] later this month, so stay tuned!
If you have ideas, suggestions, or just want to connect—please don’t hesitate to reach out. I am excited to connect with many of you and help showcase the incredible work happening across our community.
