Division 20 Undergraduate Award
The Division 20 Undergraduate Award will be presented for an outstanding paper completed by undergraduate students whose research is in the field of adult development and aging.
The $500 award is intended to recognize outstanding research being presented at APA's annual convention. Awardees will be recognized at the Division 20 business meeting during convention.
The award competition is open to undergraduate and graduate students, as well as individuals in postdoctoral positions who are first or senior author on an APA proposal submission. Postdoctoral applicants should not be more than four years post-PhD. In addition, previous recipients within a level are not eligible to apply again at that same level.

The nomination materials will include the following:
- Biographical sketch (not to exceed one page), that includes in list format (a) schools attended with degrees attained, (b) relevant professional positions, (c) honors, (d) society memberships (e) publications and/or paper presentations, (f) relevant coursework and (g) any other relevant information you would like to include.
- Short supporting statement by the faculty sponsor verifying the nature of and the relative contribution to the research by the student submitting the proposal. This statement should be short, not to exceed one paragraph, and emailed directly from the adviser.
- Abstract of research project submitted for review in conjunction with the APA Annual Convention.
