Distinguished Contributions to Education and Training (Individual)

The award may recognize a professional who has made a single major contribution to the field that influences education and training. Accomplishments may include, though are not limited to, traditional contributions, innovations, or involvement in developmental phases of education programs.

Submissions will be evaluated on the following:

• Influence on educating and training students.
• Significant contributions (e.g., research, publications, presentations) related to education or training.
• Development of effective materials for instruction.
• Establishment of workshops, conferences, or networks of communication for education and training.
• Achievement and leadership in administration that facilitate education and training.
• Activity in professional organizations that promote excellence.

Applications should include the following: 

• A letter of nomination, no more than two pages, single-spaced, outlining specific and consistently excellent contributions in the award criteria.
• Three letters of support from professionals familiar with the applicant’s work.
• A current curriculum vitae of no more than 10 pages.
