Dissertation and Thesis Awards
Abstracts will be judged by a panel of professionals in sport, exercise and performance psychology who are members of APA Div. 47: Society for Sport, Exercise and Performance Psychology (SSEPP). The awardee(s) will be notified of their selection by March, so they can make plans to attend the APA Annual Convention to receive the award, which includes a certificate, conference registration fee waiver and monetary gift.
The student applicant must be a member of APA Div. 47, SSEPP, at the time of application. Graduate students may become student affiliates of SSEPP, whether they are APA student members or not. The student must also have successfully received her or his degree during the year for which the award is given; that is, by December 31 of the application year
