As Div. 20 approaches its 75th anniversary in 2021, it seems timely for members to reflect on how the division has changed in its progression from infancy to “old age.” The motivating question for this conversation hour is “What lessons can Div. 20 learn by considering its history?” This conversation hour will reflect on the kinds of research, training and service topics that were important to members earlier in the division’s history, with the aim of understanding continuity and change in the division’s foci over the ensuing decades. David Chiriboga, past president (1988-1989), Susan Whitbourne, past president (1995-1996), Toni Antonucci, past president (1999-2000) will join Past President (2002-2003 and 2015-2016) and Division Historian Harvey L. Sterns, who will moderate and participate in this panel discussion.
