The Early Career Task Force (ECTF) held its first-ever meeting for all SIGs leaders at the end of May. We had about 15 leaders in attendance; collectively, they represented eight different SIGs. During the meeting, we discussed strategies for communicating and engaging with membership, communicating within SIGs leadership teams, using social media to make SIGs announcements, and thanking organizations or speakers who contribute to or support SIGs.
At the time of this newsletter, all SIGs leaders will have received meeting minutes from the ECTF. We plan to host our next meeting for all SIGs leaders in August. We will be in touch with an exact date and time as soon it is identified, and we will ask our leaders to contribute agenda items beforehand.
