The Div. 20 program for the APA 2021, the virtual convention (August 12- 14, 2021) has been finalized, and we hope you will engage. A variety of interesting and innovative sessions will be offered including posters, symposia, collaborative sessions, and invited addresses. Our divisional programming will be pre-recorded and on-demand, including symposia on Age Friendly Universities and intergenerational teaching methods, as well as a skill-building session on assessment practices for older adults who identify as deaf. Div. 20 is also participating in several Collaborative Programs this year, including “Crafting a Successful Research Career for Our Modern Times: An Interactive Mentoring Workshop” for our graduate and early career members. We are also hosting a live executive session and business meeting on Saturday, August 14th from 11:00am – 12:30pm (Eastern time zone; Zoom link TBD), so mark your calendars and hear our current President, Lisa Brown, give us a look at the future of collaborations in aging within and outside APA.
The full Div. 20 program will be available in later July via email and at the Div. 20 website.
We look forward to seeing you online.
