We are excited to share highlights from the upcoming 2023 APA Convention! We have finalized the 2023 APA Convention program, which has a variety of interesting and innovative sessions including posters, interactive symposia, invited addresses, and the second annual joint social hour with CONA, Division 12-2, Division 20, and COGDOP. Our divisional programming includes many interesting symposia, including a session on intersecting identities in later life (Saturday 8 am), a critical conversation with Julianne Holt-Lunstad, PhD, on loneliness in later life (Thursday 12 pm), and a skill building session on giving feedback to older adults, caregivers, and healthcare teams (Thursday 4 pm). Together with Division 12-2, we will also be hosting “Munching with Mentors” (Friday 11 am), which will feature a panel discussion and meet-and-greet to provide insight into the mentor/mentee relationship and to foster connections among psychologists working with older adults in clinical, academic, and research settings. Poster sessions are at the following times: Session 1, Thursday 3-4 pm; Session 2, Saturday 2-3 pm. We are also having our business meeting and awards ceremony back-to-back on Friday (3-5 pm) before our joint social hour (Friday 5-7 pm)!
