The program for the division at APA’s 2019 Annual Conventionopens in new window is being developed. We will have separate conversation hours with Noam Chomsky, Aaron Beck, and hopefully Albert Bandura (not final at press time) and perhaps more; a tribute and memorial for John Cacioppo; our awards ceremony; the presidential address; and more, including posters. We will be co-sponsoring an early career symposium organized by the American Psychologist and the APA Science Directorate. We hope to hear from the new chief science officer at APA and the APA president on plans going forward and how we can strengthen science in APA and how the division can contribute increasingly to that task. I hope you will be able to attend the convention, and when there, come to our divisional sessions, and I hope you will include the division's business meeting where we can discuss an increased role for Div. 3 in science efforts in APA.
