Student Dissertation in Media Psychology and Technology
This award is made for outstanding dissertation research related to any form of media including: the internet, radio, TV, or print research/applications; multimedia telecommunications; virtual reality; distance learning; telehealth services; and product development. The award includes a $200 stipend and one year of free membership in Div. 46. Applicants for 2019 must be graduating or graduated from a doctoral program and have completed the dissertation between January 2017 and December 2018.
Applicants must have graduated from a doctoral program and have completed their dissertation between January and December of the two-year period prior to the award year.
- Send a letter of nomination highlighting the nominee’s research, publications, teaching, training, leadership, and/or other relevant information.
- Include the nominee’s CV and statement about his or her research or accomplishments.
Please submit nomination letters and CV as well as other supporting documents to the current past president.
