It is an honor to be nominated for the Div. 31 secretary/treasurer position. I was very fortunate as a graduate student, and during my first year as an early career professional, to serve on the Committee for Advancement of Professional Practice within APAPO. It was there that I quickly learned that state issues are the lifeblood of professional practice, and why the mission of Div. 31 is truly pivotal for both psychology and psychologists. I have leadership experience at the local, state and national level and I have been intimately involved with APA and my state psychological association. For the last two years, I have served as Div. 31’s federal advocacy coordinator.
