Div. 31 Integrated Care Task Force is pleased to announce the launch of our State Toolkit for Integrated Care! We at Div. 31 understand that innovative integrated care work goes on at the state level, but often this work is unknown outside of the state. Instead of reinventing the wheel, we are inviting states to take advantage of these resources as part of the Div. 31 State Toolkit for Integrated Care. This toolkit serves as a resource to members seeking to develop integrated care practices in their state.
The toolkit has been put together over the last year, gathering material from task force members across the country. It includes resources on demonstrating value, workforce development, state legislative language relative to integrated care, practical tools, integrated care policies, ethics and integrated care, and payment/reimbursement for integrated care. All resources are free and available to Div. 31 members and nonmembers.
For example, under the state legislative language category, you can access the language Minnesota used to include psychologists in the collaborative care codes under their state law. There are links to ethics articles such as navigating informed consent in integrated primary care. In addition, you can access practical blogposts on topics such as work/personal life balance as an integrated care psychologist.
The toolkit will be updated on a semiannual basis, and we hope it will be a terrific resource for state leaders and integrated care providers to further the growth of integrated care and provide access to integrated care services in their states.
A special thanks to the members of the Integrated Care Task Force: Paul Korte, Barbara Ward Zimmerman, Jennifer Kelly, Doug Tynan, Elena Eisman, Natalie Pilipenko, Roseann Fish Getchell and Kevin Arnold.
