The Integrated Care Task Force remains an active group within Div. 31 with regular meetings, blog postings on the Div. 31 website, and disseminating information and resources where integrated care and SPTA issues intersect.
The Task Force created the Integrated Care State Toolkit in 2019 to help individuals work with their SPTAs to advocate for integrated care within state programs. The toolkit is maintained on the Div. 31 website and the task force continues to update the toolkit about every 6 months. For those that have not yet explored this toolkit, the task force has compiled resources related to policy language, reimbursement issues, outcome measures, and other resources that may be helpful for both the novice and the seasoned psychologist working in integrated care.
We look forward to the 2021 virtual APA convention and hope that Div. 31 members will participate in the division-sponsored programing. The Integrated Care Task Force is among many other division members who hope to present and look forward to sharing our experiences of the intersection of integrated care and SPTA issues, particularly as they related to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
In the coming months, the task force will send a brief survey to the Div. 31 membership so that we may hear about your interests, needs, and priorities. The task force is in the midst of shaping our agenda for the coming year and value input from the division membership. Members of the task force continue to serve Div. 31, and several are engaged in additional leadership roles within APA. We hope that our task force can be a conduit between integrated care and SPTA-related issues as we continue our work in the future.
