The Integrated Care Task Force continues to meet regularly and plan to request feedback from the members of Div. 31.
Our primary focus in recent years has been the Integrated Care State Toolkit, which continues to be updated on a regular basis. However, the task force wishes to expand our focus and be of service to our members and the SPTAs we represent.
In the coming months, the Task Force will send a brief survey to the Div. 31 membership so that we may hear about your interests, needs, and priorities. The task force is in the midst of shaping our agenda for the coming year and value input from the division membership. As our task force is focused on integrated care, we want to hear about how integrated care is be utilized in each state, province, and territory and what barriers exist that prevent full implementation of integrated care. States, provinces, and territories have a lot of influence over healthcare policy that occurs in their geographic area and we want to be a conduit to share best practices and provide resources those wishing to advocate for improved integrated care policies.
We thank you in advance for your feedback and hope we can continue to promote the benefits of integrated care within Div. 31. We recognize many SPTAs, as well as individuals, are already advocating for this vital service. We hope that the task force and Div. 31 can highlight the important role psychologists have in delivering services as part of a healthcare team so that other psychologists can continue to spread this care delivery to their work setting and across their own state, province, or territory.
