Erika Mesojednik, PsyD
It has been a real pleasure to serve as student chair in the past for Division 31. I would love the opportunity to continue as the secretary since I am passionate about advocating for SPTA’s. SPTA’s have been relied upon to support the practice of psychology, many times, with little resources. I welcome the opportunity to help advocate and develop additional resources that can be accessed by all.
I am currently in my own SPTA, the New Hampshire Psychological Association through their membership committee. This has been a great way for me to learn how a small SPTA works. Previously, I held many leadership roles within Minnesota Psychological Association including student division co-chair and women’s division chair.
Running for secretary of Division 31, I hope to continue to support SPTA’s role in advocacy, achieving their goals, and continuing to support the relationship with APA. Since joining Division 31, I have found the knowledge and kindness of the division to be unique as the members understand the balance of practice and advocacy. If elected, I would do my best to serve the members’ needs to continue to advocate for the best interests of SPTA’s.
