The mission of the Diversity Council is to promote inclusion of diversity-relevant issues in the administration of Div. 55, to provide information and services relating to diversity to Div. 55 membership, and to provide representation within APA on the intersection of diversity and psychopharmacotherapy within APA governance. The Diversity Council focuses its collective efforts on issues of minority health and health disparities specifically as they relate to clinical psychopharmacology.

Diversity Council members serve dual roles as representatives on the division’s other councils and committees to facilitate diversity representation throughout the division’s administration.

We are always looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals, from students to seasoned professionals, to contribute to achieving the mission of this council. To find out how to play a role in our efforts, please contact our chair.
