Applied experimental and engineering psychology is the application of psychological principles, knowledge, and research to improve the ability of humans to operate more effectively in a technological society.

Division 21 publishes the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied and the Division of Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology Newsletter.

Division 21 is offering free, one-year memberships (including the opportunity to subscribe at a discounted rate to the top-tier journal, Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied®) to (a) APA members who are not currently members of Division 21 and (b) students.

As part our outreach activities, our president, Jing Chen, organized an information table on behalf of APA at this year's HFES annual meeting.
