The Fellows Committee is honored to help uplift the voices and contributions of Division 44 members who make significant national and/or international impacts in sexual orientation and gender diversity psychology and 2SLGBTQI+ communities. We aim to make the process and resources for Fellow applications as clear as possible, and Communications Co-Chairs are helping us make important website changes. Thank you to Bekah Estevez and Kristine Diaz!
Please check out changes being made to the Division 44 webpage, the Fellows Directory. We wish to make this directory as complete as possible so that future applicants have a list of all possible Division 44 writers for their letters of support. If you are a Fellow through Division 44 but do not see your name on this directory or you would like to include your website address and/or pronouns, please email Fellows Committee Co-chairs with your request.
If you are participating in the convention this year, please mark your schedule for the first in-person Division 44 Fellows Addresses Symposium on Friday, August 5, 2–3:50 pm. The following Division 44 Fellows of 2021 will discuss their journeys of impacting the field of the psychology of sexual orientation and gender diversity and LGBTQI+ communities: Stephanie Budge, PhD, Nick Grant, PhD, Patrick Grzanka, PhD, and Nadine Nakamura, PhD.
It is always a good time to think about encouraging potential Fellows to consider applying. If there is someone you would like us to follow-up with, please email the co-chairs. We also aim to strengthen the Fellows Committee work by diversifying our committee membership. Because of APA rules, we welcome Division 44 fellows to join the committee. We appreciate your recommendations.
