“We must find playful forms of life and responsive institutions that can sustain us by honoring our fundamental impulses and political movements that have what I can only call ‘soul’.”
— Stephen K. Levine
In October 2019, as response to this call, “Beyaz Keçi” EXA Institute was established where phenomenology and “poiesis” constitute the key foundations of the practices (therapy, supervision and trainings). Beyaz Keçi means “white goat” and aims to bring the spirit of the European Graduate School from the Swiss Alps to the chaotic, yet beautiful metropolitan Istanbul and create an alchemy. In collaboration with leading facilitators from other EXA Institutes within the network (Barcelona, India, Berlin, Mexico, etc.) and regional EXA facilitators such as Beliz Demircioğlu, Aylin Vartanyan, Mada Özlem Ustaömeroğlu and guest artists in Turkey, we plan to provide EXA modules and courses in 2021 and bring soulful and artful experiences to a wider community.
Fulya Kurter Musnitsky, founder, is a psychotherapist and facilitator specialized in psychodrama and expressive arts, as well as a PhD candidate at the European Graduate School.
