In accordance with Association Rule 30.8, the Board of Professional Affairs (BPA), in collaboration with the Committee on Professional Practice and Standards (COPPS), seeks public and member comments on proposed Guidelines for the Implementation of Evidence-Based Psychological Practice. The purpose of these guidelines is to recognize the need for general guidance on evidence-based psychological practice (EBPP) and to clarify APA’s policy on EBPP by offering concrete and practical guidance on the process of psychological practice. APA has developed guidelines on a range of topics. It is believed that this set of guidelines, pending final approval, will be an important addition to APA’s guidelines portfolio. Comments will be accepted for a 60-day period ending on Dec. 15, 2019. Please submit comments online
