The Virtual Group Therapy Conference for 2022 will be held via Zoom, April 28–29, on the theme of “Navigating difference at the intersections of identity, culture, trauma, and mental health in group work.” I would love any help with planning, preparation, and helping this conference come to fruition. Let me know if you have interest, and we will form a conference leadership team to help pull this thing off. Learn more about our last conference in Spring 2021 if you want to see what we offered.
I am also interested in who would like to lead a workshop and/or Small Group Experiential Training at this conference. We have had some wonderful presenters in the past, and we would love to have any of you back for this conference (and, of course, any first-time presenters). In our feedback forms there are always several attendees that express a desire for presenters to return so that they can attend their workshop/Small Group Experiential Training (SGET).
If a few of you email me and express your interest in presenting, it will help us jumpstart things and pull this conference together.
Please let me know if you are interested in presenting. Also, please view the Call for Proposals form that will help us put the program together and be able to advertise the different workshops/SGETs.
