To assist its student, early career, and profession members, Division 43 offers information about doctoral, internship and postdoctoral fellowship programs with a concentration in couple and family psychology. It also provides free access to educational and teaching resources for the classroom. Our Diversity Statement enthusiastically acknowledges that diversity is a key dimension of family systems and couple and family psychologists are committed to the integration of multicultural competencies into their research and clinical work with individuals, couples and families. Clinicians will find helpful resources and videos on important contemporary issues such as immigration, incarceration, gender and violence under the 2019-2020 Social Justice Initiative.

Division 43 is proud to offer Couple and Family Psychology: Research and Practice  (CFP-RP) as a membership benefit. CFP-RP is a scholarly journal published by APA, and it was created to provide a forum for discussing important issues in the field of couple and family psychology and to promote the integration of couple and family systems theory, research and practice. To learn more or submit a manuscript for review, please visit the journal's webpage.

Division 43 offers many other membership benefits, including the opportunity to serve on practice, education or communication committees; awards and recognitions; social and professional networking events at APA's convention; and student presentations in the Hospitality Suite at APA's convention. Soon, Division 43 members will also have access to free continuing education videos.

If you are a student, a clinician, an educator or/and researcher interested in the psychology of couples and families, we hope that you will make Division 43 your home in APA. Also, student membership in our division is free. We strongly encourage you to join our collegial and enthusiastic community, and we hope that you will become an active participant and contribute to our various projects.
